DIY Card Holder Frame

You know us ladies, we like to accessorize to the max! I can't stop at one thing, I don't have limits. That's why I accessorized my OV-chipcard holder. We all use it at a daily basis so why not make it fashion approved?
Never before was checking into the Randstadrail so fashionable!
To see how I turned my OV-chipcard into a fab card " watch my video below!

Revive the animal within!

This is part 2 of how to make your own tattoo without the pain! part one can be found here!

You need:

  •  a black marker (special ones for clothes)
  •  a piece of paper
  •  and a pantyhose

The steps

1. Put your pantyhose on
2. Put a piece of paper under your pantyhose
3. And start drawing!

I've used the piece of paper only at the upper leg. When I didn't use a piece of paper I experienced a better grip and I was able to make better leopard patterns. The marker stains are easy to get rid of (on your legs). And the end result is visible but ofcourse the darker you are the less visible it will be. Feel free to re-draw your pattern for better results!

Note: Do not wash it!

Love, Ngina

DIY: Spring Room

It's spring and that means spring...? Noo not spring break, but the annual spring cleaning. A clean house makes a clean mind and that is the * moment * when all things inspirational come to life.

I myself have fun ways to keep my stuff in order. Especially for you I've thought of simple but low expense ways to decorate/organize your way through that cleaning process. Not only useful at your spring cleanse but more so useful whenever! I made the flowers myself with foam paper and sprayed my frame mirror gold.

Keep it in order and detoxify your environment! And allow yourself to DREAM.....
Take a look and check the slideshow for more! (for questions, just comment below).

My choice 2

Sometimes I have creative moments one of these moments that feel like an emotional outburst. At those moments I feel like I haveeee to do SOMETHING dramatic to let it out, like an itch waiting to be scratched. This thursday was one of these moments. That day I decided I wanted to make something I had in mind for a longgg time. I wanted to alter a garment I already had. And That's what I did, I went all the way Y'ALL! I went for a legging I already had but one that was tainted (it was already ripped a lil' bit).

I'm very very very HAPPY with the result. You like? I know I DO! I wore it outside with a pantyhose beneath it and a short under it. You can create your own ripped legging too, wanna know how I did it? keep on reading.
What you need:

  • legging
  • scissors (they have to be very sharp to really cut through the fabric)
  • patience
  • and that smile on your face when it's done!

The legging I chose was a H&M legging(4 euros) I thought that this legging outta work the best.

Then I started cutting it. I didn't use a guide whatsoever, although I had an imagine in mind what I wanted to create. I didn't wear the legging when I started at the bottom, but later on (above the knee area) I was wearing the legging while cutting it. As you can see I started at the bottom and worked my way up.

For the finishing touch I added spikes that are also from H&M to accessoirize it.

The result:

What I'm wearing: necklace H&M, legging H&M, blazer H&M, shirt V&D, boots Michael Kors.

What do you think about the result? And have you ever altered clothes?

My own design!

Heyy,

I'm so busy with school (I'm a law student), that I haven't had the time to post anything.
But now I so have some time and I wanted to share something with you!

I am so proud. I my first design is finished, I have a love for dresses and wanted my first design to be a dress and black.
I love peplum dresses/skirts. So that's why I decided to make one myself. I started by sketching what was in my mind.

And of course I made her look like me, a bit!
I already had in mind what I wanted my dress to look like.

I wanted a balloon kind of skirt

A little bit of sexiness for the back

And I wanted lots and lots of colors due to the fact that my dress is already dark!

Okay okay I have to give it to you! I had a little bit of help my Mom is my "designer". Ohh man what she can do with scissors and needles and some thread. She made my dress and I made that drawing and THIS is my result. I wore it at my dad's birthday party and I may alter the dress in the future maybe go for less color but I don't know... maybe I will!

what do you think?

Insparation Chart

Do you ever go shopping and have your mind set on one thing in particular but come back with something totally different?
I for one get that a lot I had my mind set on that dress!! but I come back with 4 shoes, 2 belts and a pair of “hello kitty”socks I frankly do not need. but not that dress and along the way forgot to buy (those socks were too cute to resist ^ _ ^)
And I also forget many necessary things I wanted to buy in the first place. That's why I came up with a plan of my own. I thought it would be a great idea to make an inspiration chart!

Making an inspiration chart is a visual form of note taking.
Through the use of colors and images. I made this chart in paint and sent it to my phone.

When I go shopping this reminds me what it is what I came to find. It keeps me on track and keeps me from coming home with 4 shoes, 2 belts and a pair of “hello kitty”socks I frankly do not need. This system has helped me to keep my wardrobe in order and know what I need and do not need.

What do you think of the idea of an inspiration chart to help you go shopping?

My choice

This month purchase December/January
Now and then I'm on the airport of Amsterdam and I never buy a thing!
Well this time I just couldn't help myself. I decided to buy this necklace
by H&M and the bracelet is by River Island.
And this is how I rocked my jewels this month!
